The usage steps can be summarized as: fill → seal → vacuum → check.
Step 1: Preparation
Clean the items: Make sure the clothes and bedding to be stored are clean and completely dry. Damp items can cause mold.
Arrange flatly: Place the items flatly in the bag and spread them out as much as possible. This helps to vacuum more thoroughly and prevents uneven force on the zipper.
Leave space for sealing: Fill the bag to about 80% - 90% of its capacity, leaving room for sealing and vacuuming. Do not overfill.
Step 2: Seal the bag by sliding the zipper closure: The compression bag is equipped with a "slider". Align the zipper chain completely and ensure it is fully locked from one end to the other.
Check the seal: Run your hand along the zipper to make sure no clothes, hair, etc. are stuck in the sealing strip.
Step 3: Extract Air
Manual Air Pump: Align the pump's air extraction port with the bag's air valve to ensure a tight connection. Use the pump to extract air until you feel significant resistance, indicating that the air has been largely removed.
Electric Air Pump: Position the electric pump's air extraction port over the air valve. Turn on the switch and let it extract air automatically. This usually takes just a few dozen seconds, and the sound will change when the extraction is complete.
Vacuum Cleaner: Remove the brush head from the vacuum cleaner and directly align the nozzle of the suction tube with the air valve. Turn on the vacuum cleaner and use its powerful suction to quickly extract the air.
Hand-Rolling Type (Pump-Free): After sealing, open the air valve cover. Roll the bag from the opposite end of the air valve, using your hands or body to squeeze out the air through the air valve. Once you reach the end, quickly close the air valve cover to complete the sealing.
Step 4: Storage and Inspection
Place the vacuum-sealed bags in a cool and dry place, away from sharp objects and heavy items that could cause compression. Regularly (such as before the change of seasons) check if the bags are leaking air. If you notice any swelling, you can re-vacuum them.
